A little help
with Dibs.
The app is preparing for its App Store release. Here’s how its main features work.
How do I choose a feel?
Tap the selector above the touch surface. Browse All, Tactile, or Coasting. Each option explains how to use it.
How do I enable sounds?
Open Settings and turn Sounds on. Sounds are off by default and respect Silent Mode and your iPhone’s output volume.
What does Coast change?
It controls how long Click Wheel, Rolling Beads, and Typewriter keep moving after a stroke. Rub again to add momentum.
What happens after a call or headphone change?
Feedback reconnects automatically. If iOS cancels your touch when system UI takes over, touch the surface again. You should not need to restart the app. If needed, use Reconnect feedback in Settings.
Can I press harder for a stronger click?
Dibs uses touch and movement, rather than pressure. Adjust Strength in Settings to change the overall haptic intensity.
How do I remove ads or restore a purchase?
When purchases are available, open Settings and choose Remove ads forever. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Use Restore purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase if you reinstall Dibs or move to another iPhone.
How do I change ad privacy choices?
Open Settings → Ad privacy choices when that option is available. Choices depend on your region and Google’s consent requirements. Removing ads does not delete historical purchase or advertising records.
Why are there no vibrations?
Use an iPhone that supports haptics and enable Haptics in Dibs Settings. The iOS Simulator cannot reproduce the physical feel. Reopen the app after a system interruption if feedback does not recover.
How do refunds work?
Apple handles App Store purchase refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request one; eligibility is determined by Apple.
What data does Dibs collect?
Purchases use Apple and RevenueCat; banner ads use Google AdMob. Your finger movements are processed on your iPhone, and the local playback log is not uploaded. See the privacy policy for provider data and choices.
